In a fun & relaxed environment come learn the basics of Stand Up Paddle boarding (SUP) in our 2 hour SUP introduction class. Our hand picked venues are all over the North York Moors National Park – select the options below to book. Come and join us for a fun escapade and a day long grin.
On dry land we’ll start with an introduction to the basic elements of effective SUP – the 3 P’s: position, posture and paddling. Then we put the 3 P’s to the test on the water and perfect our technique as we paddle up a River, Dam or on the sea. Beforehand we will also warm up, discuss the equipment and safety.
SUP Introduction classes are accessible to all. However, as a minimum you must be able to swim a minimum of 50 metres.
We provide the board, paddle, wetsuit, buoyancy aid and qualified tuition. You just bring a towel, water, warm clothes and a smile :). In warm weather bring sun lotion, old trainers and swimwear.
Minimum Age – 10 Year old. No upper age limit
SUP is easy, fun, healthy and open to all abilities.
